ABOUT US
FTF Equine is located in Smithtown, New York. We pride ourselves in making horseback riding a fun experience for everyone. We safely incorporate ground work and riding, making for a total equestrian experience and a well rounded rider. Ground work includes, grooming, tacking, and leading. Being a small facilities allows us to concentrate on each individual rider.
We have safe schooling horses for all levels and ages. All our horses are well maintained and trained, providing for a confidence- building ride. We have an equestrian show team which has done very well at the local and regional horse shows. The FTF Team is growing and has been competing successfully. Not only do the riders compete very well at individual shows, but have consistently brought home end-of-the-year awards.
Stephanie Proffe, our lead trainer has been working for years on perfecting the riding experience. Originally teaching at a commercial facility, 16 years ago she began her own lesson line. Stephanie has experience with all different ages and riding levels. Her patience and dedication pay's off with happy, successful riders. Horsemanship plays a very important roll in Stephanie's program and she takes pride in passing that knowledge through to students. Stephanie also sits as president of the Long Island Professional Horsemans Association and enjoys giving back to the community.
